Our titanium alloy brake shims have roughly 40% the
thermal conductivity of stainless steel, and 6% of aluminum. That means
less heat gets through to cook your brake fluid and components. The
result? Better performance on the track as your brake fluid and calipers stay cooler and last longer. The secondary results? You save money as your brake components and fluids last longer, and you spend more time on the track instead of swapping these out. These shims are precision CAD engineered and waterjet-cut to our
exacting specifications. The shim is designed to hook onto the caliper
pins for a clean and simple install (unlike crude knock-offs that
require you to wedge them in place with bent tabs). They have been
track tested on many different applications, and typically install in minutes
using basic tools. Although intended primarily for track and competition use, these will also make a difference in aggressive street driving. Pricing is per-axle (i.e. front or rear axle, each set includes 4 shims, one for each brakepad on the axle).
